Open Netscape 6 or later

Under the "Tasks" menu, select "Mail & Newsgroups". This will
launch the messenger client. Go to this new window.

Under the "Edit" menu, select "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings".

Click the "New Account" button.

Click the "ISP or email Provider" check-circle and click "Next".

Follow the prompts, using the email address, host and login
information that you were given, until the procedure is finished.

When asked for the server type, select "POP".

When asked for your username, enter the 'login' name you
were given.

Note that if you have already configured an outgoing
mail server for another account, you will not be asked
to enter one at this point. This step is done later, if
necessary.

WAIT! You are not done yet. You MUST configure your email
client to use SSL. If you do NOT select SSL security you will
NOT be able to fetch email.

Your new email account should appear in the list of accounts.
Highlight "Server Setting" for your account.

Click the "Use secure connection" check-box and click "ok".

WAIT! You may not be done yet. If you want to use the default
outgoing mail server you specified with an existing account,
you are done - it will be used automatically by netscape. If
you want to use the outgoing mail server you were given with
your new mail account, continue.

Highlight "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" and click the "Advanced"
button.

Click the "Add" button.

Enter the outgoing mail server name you were given with your new
account.

Uncheck the "Use name and password" check-box.

Click "OK" twice.

Highlight your new account name and click on the "Advanced" button.

Using the drop-down arrow select the name of the outgoing mail
server you just entered.

Click "OK" twice and you are done.
