BCH Technical Services, LLC - Mail Configuration - Opera 6+

1. Open Opera 6 or later
2. Under the "Email" menu, select "New account...".
3. Select the "Account" tab.
   1. Under "Account Name", enter a name for this profile that is meaningful to you. (note that this use of "Account Name" does not refer to your 'login'. You may use it here, but it is not required. It will be required later in the configuration).
   2. For "Full name", enter your first and last name.
   3. For "E-mail Address", enter your email address.
   4. "Organization" is optional - fill this in appropriately if you like.
   5. "Reply Address" can almost always be left empty.
4. Select the "Servers" tab.
   • In the "Incoming" section:
     1. For "Server", enter the incoming mail host.
     2. For "Protocol", select "POP3".
     3. Do not change the "Port" number.
     4. Check the "TLS" check-box (this will enable SSL).
     5. For "Username", enter your login.
     6. For "Password", enter your password.
   • In the "Outgoing" section:
     1. For "Server", enter the outgoing mail host.
     2. For "Protocol", select "SMTP".
     3. Do not change the "Port" number.
     4. Do NOT check the "TLS" check-box.
5. Select the "Incoming" tab.
   1. Under the "Automation", check the box labeled "Delete e-mail from server after retrieval".
6. Click "OK".
7. You are done!
