BCH Technical Services, LLC - Mail Configuration - Outlook Express on Macintosh OS

1. Open Outlook Express.
2. Under the "Tools" menu, select "Accounts".
3. Select the "Mail" tab.
4. Click the "New" button.
5. Follow the prompts, using the email address, host and login information that was sent to you, until the procedure is finished. Do NOT check the "Secure Password Authentication" or "SPA" check-box.
6. WAIT! You are not done yet. You MUST configure your email client to use SSL. If you do NOT select SSL security you will NOT be able to fetch email.
7. Your new email account should appear in the list under the "Mail" tab. Highlight it and click the "Edit" button.
8. Select the "Account Settings" tab.
9. Under the "Receving Mail" section (about half way down), just below the password box, click on the box labeled "Click here for advanced receiving options".
10. In the mini-window that appears, click the check-box labeled "This pop server requires a secure connection (SSL)".
11. Do NOT perform these last two steps for the "Sending Mail" section.
12. Click "Apply", "Okay" or "Done" until all of the windows are closed. You are done!
