Outlook Express on Microsoft Windows

Open Outlook Express.

Under the "Tools" menu, select "Accounts".

Select the "Mail" tab.

Click the "Add" button and select "Mail" if a list appears
next to the button when it is clicked.

The configuration 'wizard' will appear.

For "Display", enter your first and last name and click "Next".

For "E-mail address", enter your new email address and click "Next".

Select "POP3" from the "My incoming mail service is a..." box.

For "Incoming mail...", enter the incoming mail host.

For "Outgoing mail...", enter the outgoing mail host.

Click "Next".

For "Account name" enter your login.

For "Password" enter your password.

Do NOT check the box labeled "Log on using Secure Password
Authentication (SPA)".

Click "Next".
-
Click "Finish".

WAIT! You are not done yet. You MUST configure your email
client to use SSL. If you do NOT select SSL security you will
NOT be able to fetch email.

Your new email account should appear in the list under the "Mail"
tab. Highlight it and click the "Properties" button.

Select the "Advanced" tab.

Click the check-box under "Incoming Mail" labeled "This
server requires a secure connection (SSL)". Do NOT select the
similar check-box under "Outgoing mail".

Click "Apply" and "OK".

On the original Accounts windows Click "Close".

You are done!
